One of the leading community pharmacy networks in Europe, Alliance Pharmacy entered the Northern Ireland market with the acquisition of the leading pharmacy chain Bairds chemists, which had 51 pharmacies throughout the province.
The company is using this platform for future growth in the sector and is positioning itself for the forthcoming changes in the provision of healthcare services at local level which will result in more services being offered at pharmacy level.
Morrows has been appointed to assist the company in its Northern Ireland entry strategy and to advise on and manage its communications needs on the ground. This programme began with the implementation of a communications strategy to introduce the Alliance Pharmacy brand to the marketplace to coincide with the physical rebranding of all the pharmacies to the new name. This involved direct communication with key internal and external stakeholders as well as media relations activity.
