Over 150 Business owners and managers in the private sector in Northern Ireland were offered the opportunity to examine the key management and leadership actions that help them to improve their bottom line.
The ½ day event on behalf of the Management and Leadership Network, and sponsored by Parcelforce Worldwide and Airtricity was held in March 2004 in the Ramada Hotel, Belfast. The event focused on how developing simple ideas can transform your business and how often they can be first written on the back of a beermat.
Picture the scene…Northern Ireland’s business community is very sleepy when they arrive at the conference at 8.30am. The last thing they were expecting was a full on nightclub. Bouncers, smoke machines, 70’s music and a catwalk. By the time the conference started, they were wide awake. Top class speakers entertained the guests including interview styles rather than the standard standing behind lectern stuff.
